We have a support group that meets in Puyallup on the 2nd Tuesday and 2nd Wednesday of each month. We meet at Michelle Curran's house (www.vitalady.com). The meetings are very informal and loaded with usefull information and ideas both for preop and postop. Spouses, significant others, as well as support people are also welcome to attend. They usually start at 7:00 p.m. and run an hour to 2 hours depending upon turnout.

I went to the Vitalady's support group last week. I told my doctor and he said I have to go to the Western Washington WLS group located at the Martin Luther King branch of the Tacoma Library on Cedar st. in Tacoma. It is held the 3rd Wed. of every month. I am having my surgery at St. Josephs Hosp. in Tacoma. Quest. just email me. Thanks and Good Luck.
