Question:
Does anyone know if post-ops should take Phospho-soda?

It is a type of liquid laxative made by Fleet. My sister (9 mos. post-op) is scheduled for a procedure tomorrow where they are checking her bladder, kidneys and bowel and 45 cc of phospho-soda has been ordered. my doctor gave me Phospho-soda just 5 weeks out for severe constipation and everything was just fine, except the taste.

I used it when I was very constipated. Worked like a charm with no problems. CVS has a cherry flavor that went down a little better than the lemon-lime. ~Sidney~ Open RNY 10-23-02 down 120+
