Question:
I have a twinge of pain that comes and goes near my belly button

You did not mention how long post-op you are. I am almost 7mos out (-115lbs). I was having phantom pains around the area just above my belly button. My surgeon told me that it was due to the internal sutures (I don't know if you had lap rny - I did). As you stomach muscles get stronger it will go away.
