Question:
Has anyone out there had wls while experiencing active lupus?

Yes I have active Lupus. I had my surgery June 19th. It seems harder for me to lose the weight. While in a flare it's harder to exercise as much as they tell you too. I have found that I'm losing about 4lbs. per week. Try water physical therapy if you have the surgery, it seems to help with the pain level.
