Question:
Has anyone been approved when the insurance company

wants a year of documentation and weight lose with a Doctor? I don't have a whole year and it has been since 1996 that I had a supervised diet plan with a Doctor. Does this mean I will get denied now for sure? Even if I have sleep apnea high blood pressure and diabetic.    — Barbara T. (posted on March 15, 2003)

I had to provide proof that I had docotr supervised weight loss program within the last year, not the entire year. I was denied initially, then when I provided that along with letters from 3 healthcare providers and myself, I was approved. Good luck, Pam
