Question:
Has anyone in the Pa. area had their surgery performed by Dr. Jeffrey Lord?

He is transferring to the Naval Hospital in Va. late this summer and there are many on the waiting list (including myself)I would appreciate any information.    — JoyfulLife (posted on June 16, 2003)

Dr. Lord worked under Dr. Schauer and he actually was involved in my surgery. I had laparoscopic and they found an incidental hernia related to my hysterectomy, and he repaired the hernia laparoscopically during my RNY. He was very nice also and easy on the eyes. Good Luck!

Re: Dr. Lord. I was operated on by Dr. Schauer's group, who is nationally known and he only works with the best surgeons. Dr. Lord is the one who actually discharged me from the hospital, and was very friendly and had good bedside manner. In Pittsburgh, Dr. Schauer has a reputation as being a very well known surgeon and you can be assured that if Dr. Lord is associated with his group, he must be a fine doctor. Just my humble opinion.
