Question:
Has anyone had the surgery while on oxygen?

I have been put on halt for the bypass due to home oxygen. After 1 1/2 years of waiting...I can now go without the oxygen when I remain sitting...has anyone had the surgery while on oxygen? If so, how did it go...problems etc...(I would also welcome a response at [email protected] we could discuss this more perhaps)    — Mary M. (posted on July 14, 2005)

Hey Mary, my friend had her surgery in may and was on oxygen at home and her surgery went very well. She did have a few complications afterwards but none that were associated to her oxygen.

My mother-in-law was on oxygen for at least 10yrs and had her surgery 4yrs ago and she is doing great. The good news is that she no long need oxygen anymore. I wish you the best of luck. Stacie 342/225/180
