Have you asked your doctor about it? Also in the meantime, try some of those new breath strips. Listerine makes one, Myntz makes a yummy cinnamon one and I think Wrigley has just come out with them. The dissolve on your tongue and are great for a quick fix.

If you use Listerine mouthwash 2 times daily and use the breath strips, you should be good to go. If that doesn't work, there are little breath pills you can take. They almost look like the oil balls you put into the bath tub, only much smaller. They are suppose to work for hours. Gook Luck.

When you are in ketosis, you are burning fat. It is expressed in your breath and urine. The odor is coming from the air you breathe out from your lungs. It will go away when you quit losing weight so fast. Just keep your mouth closed and breathe in another direction for a while.

My doctor recommended the Listerine Breath Strips. They are VERY strong, but they do work!

Get some chlorella tablets from the health store. Chlorephil(SP) is an internal deorderant. Parsley helps too.

My surgeon gave me a list of things to do in case of certain situations. For bad breath he says this is due to gastric retention. Reglan may help. This is a prescription medicine which you can ask for. Otherwise, as the other postings say try the over the counter mouthwashes and toothpastes.

Congratulations! You are most likely in ketosis. Brush your teeth often, use Listerine mouthwash and strips, chew s/f gum, and brush your tongue! Good luck to you! P.S. I was in ketosis and lost 14lbs in a week recently!
