Question:
I am burping constantly.....

I am 3 weeks out from a LAP RNY. I am burping all day, whether I eat or drink. The more I move the more I burp. Food and drink taste lousy, I don't feel full or hungry. And the burping is driving me crazy!! Any answers??    — D. F. (posted on May 28, 2001)

I burped a lot, too. Didn't mind too much, but it just was inconvenient. If things continue to taste bad after you're off all drugs and stuff, you'll need to check with your doc and have a look around in there and make sure all is as it should be. Life should be comfy with these things, once we're through the break-in period.

I wonder if you have had any improvement or helpful responses to your burping delima. I am almost 6 weeks post-op and have just recently started burping all the time, and I do me frequently. Its uncomfortable and embarrassing if I'm out in public and need to burp.
