Dear Betty: Hope you get some responses, but if you don't, you can be your
own groundbreaker, as I was. I leave in an even larger metropolitan area
(NYC) and it can be done. I asked my surgeon for referral, a local PS
residency program, and finally went with a recommendation from someone at
work who is having the same work done. But I interviewed all of them and
would still be doing so, had I not found the right PS. It's not easy to
find a plastic surgeon who is familiar and willing to work with insurance
for redundant skin reduction, but it can be done! You navigated the
original WLS, and this is just the next step in the road.

Hi, I have the name of an excellent plastic surgeon. He operated on my
hand for carpal tunnel syndrome and I got every bit of feeling back! A
good friend of mine who had breast cancer had him reconstruct her breast
and it looks great! Now, he's not in Atlanta, he's in Carrollton. But

I am going to have Dr Keith Jeffords do my surgery on December 6th. He has
lots of experience with weight loss surgery patients. During the consult
he made me feel very comfortable, even with taking all the naked
pictures...lol.
