Question:
Cannot reach to wipe anymore

Ihave been reading a lot of interesting solutions for your problem 1. barbeque tongs to give your arms added length. the paper fits nicely in the tongs. 2. A toilet brush with holder. fits nicely in the bathroom use the handle end to hold the toilet paper and the brush end to hold on to.Also check in your local medical supply store for any other ideas.

You can take an old towel and wet it, then flip it between your legs. After that it's like using dental floss. Wash it out with soap in the sink and then into the hamper. Another method is to get a hand held shower massage, and try to time your daily chore with your morning shower. Clean the nasty first then the soap and shampoo you use after that will help wash out the tub. Between the two methods you can get there most of the time.

THE SHOWER MASSAGE IS ALSO A GREAT "FULL CLEAN" MEATHOD. YOU CAN ALSO MAKE UP YOUR OWN SHOWER HEAD BY GOING TO A PLUMBING STORE AND GETTING SPRAYERS AND A FLEX PIPE. GOOD LUCK!

There are lots of portable bidet sites on the Internet. One that looks good is http://www.heppnet.com/Health-Care-Products/clenzone-Products.html They have one for about $30.00... as well as a portable bidet (attaches to your faucet) for $25.00.

I keep a container of baby wipes in my bedroom and I lay on my side and I'm able to wipe myself that way.

I am 5'5 485# and also have this problem...then I got a $2 pair of long handed tongs at wal mart...and I wrap a wet one around the end and wipe that way. It helped a lot! Cant wait til after my wls and I lose some weight to where I can throw the tongs away ;) Or I guess I could use em for the BBQ? LOL JUST KIDDING! Ewwwwww Lisa

I`ve heard you can also use a nice soft foam glass washer which can be all hot&soapy and then you rinse it out good each time you use it ,,and they are cheap enough if they break buy another,,Hope this hepled
