Question:
I have a hernia in my abdomen the size of an orange. It is to be removed 1/06.

I have had 2 hernia repairs and it didnt stop my weight loss at all.2 years post op.

Hi, I had a hernia also, removed three weeks ago, it didn't stop my weight loss, and getting it fixed/removed has improved my overall feeling of "better" I am taking at night, one tablet of dulcolax and 1 tablet of milk of magnesia to keep the flow going, as I did get very constipated the week after surgery:)

I had a hernia also and had it fixed about 1 year post-op. I had no problems with the weight loss stopping and I felt better after it was fixed. I am now 4 years out.

I had a hernia removed and was able to get a great tummy tuck along with the removal. Perhaps you should visit a plastic surgeon to weigh you options. Insurance usually covers the tucks with the hernia repairs. Marcy
