Question:
Is additional info. accepted at state hearing???

I'd like to ask those of u who've had a state hearing (mine is for panniculectomy) reason I was denied was due to no dr.s notes. I had pics and letters of support from ALL my dr.s my question is I now have plenty of documentation in my chart notes and its time to file for a state hearing... when you went for your state hearing were you allowed to submitt additional info. or not.... I didn't GO for a state hearing for my TT, the state sent my case to an external reviwing company. When I put the paperwork in for this, I added additional letters from my Drs and a long letter from me, expalining how my insurance company messed up. I think you have to send in all your supportive documentation at the time you send in the appeal application. Good luck!
