Question:
Is there any hope for AETNA PPO will approve me arm/thigh lifts?

I've heard so many people say that the insurance companies rarely approve arm or thigh lifts? I was just wondering if anyone had any success with AETNA PPO for these procedures? I'm definitely feeling like I was before surgery. I'm ready to do whatever I have to do to get these surgeries approved. That includes embellishing the truth a little. Any and all advice would be helpful (including sample letters to the insurance companies). Please help! I'd be forever grateful!    — Janine H. (posted on April 14, 2003)

I have Aetna EPO (which is pretty much the same thing) and they covered my arms. I am still working on the Thighs. Good Luck!
