Has anyone with Blue Cross Federal Employees insurance gotten approval for a tummy tuck?

Yes. Mine is scheduled for May 16th. Had to have a letter of Medical Necessity from the Plastic surgeon. They will not cover the TT cosmetic reasons....only if it is a medical necessity and affects the quality of your life. Rashes and backaches are not considered to be things that affect the quality of your life. (OpenVBG 06/11/01 - 146 lbs GONE!!!)
