Question:
NO PERIOD?

I had my surgery on May 28 and hae not had a period yet....not sure if that is normal or not...but definately not complaining.    — Tara C. (posted on August 25, 2003)

I did not get my period for 3 months after surgery. Since then it has been more regular than it had ever been before.

Hi, I after surgery I didn't get my period for 6 months and then I went into peri menapouse. I haven't had it for almost a year, however I am 52, but 50 years old when I had my surgery. I beleive it is common and not abnormal to have your menstrual cycle interupted because of major/extreme surgery. As long as you have no other discomfort..I'm with you I'M NOT COMPLAINING. Take Care.
