You could always go to another surgeon for a second opinion.

Ok, I don't really have an answer for you, but I will tell you that my mom had an "extra butt"...we always joked with her. She passed away a couple years ago...what I would give to be able to joke with her about her second butt again. Don't be upset about your "uniqueness", someone in your family loves that about you, trust me

Oh Christine. Stop crying!! My husband and I laugh about this... he "farts" with his belly button... it is gross, but it is the only way we can handle it right now! It DOES go away, but only if you work at it. I do crunches and walk, and my "up-front back-end" is dissappearing. I am actually starting to see ab muscles! LOL!! I am 18 months out, down 220 lbs and have about 30+ lbs to go. My doc said I could have plastic surgery, and my insurance will approve it, but he also said to try working at it first. It doesn't hurt as much as another surgery!
