Question:
Is it safe to continue Colonic Hydrotherapy AFTER weight loss surgery?

perhaps you should check with your doctor...i wouldn't do it without checking with a credible source...

Hello Iam not post op yet, however I asked my Doctor about this last week. He told me no you can not do Colonic Hydrotherapy--he stated that the water fills the small and large intestines and sometimes part of the stomach. If your stomach has been stapled adding the water will enlarge your pouch and or cause you to vomit. (coffe grounds) I have the hps 5 gallon colonic irrigation system w/ a lay on board. I am not sure if smaller ones will have the same effect on the stomach/pouch.

Clear it with your OWN doc, of course. Mine cleared me and I did this, but not myself. I actually took a sketch & op report to the hydrotherapy provider before starting. I wanted to be sure all of us were on the same page, you know?
