Question:
is there anyone in maine that has found a surgeon that will do boobs ,butts and priva

my family doctor and my psychiatrist both say these proceedures are medically necessary. I cannot find anyone that will even talk to me about insurance coverage let alone mainecare. both my doctors agree that if they had the chance to send info to the boards that it will be approved.has any one been in this position? what did they do?Help I think I almost felt better at 320 lbs. than I do at 140 I know thats not that big of a loss but my skin really really hangs ,even in my privates please feel free to emAIL me at [email protected]    — veronica D. Veronica - I am scheduled for a tt and thing lift on 5/24 with Dr. Schossberger in Watervilee - I am not sure about wether or not he does the vaginal reconstruction, but he was very open and concerned about the skin issue and did submit requests to my ins co for those two procedures and to bring the girls back where they are meant to be, but, surprise surprise, they denied me. Give him a call - they really are wonderful. Have you tried Bonowitz in Lewiston? His office was great, too. Good luck to you! Kim

I am 6 years out and felt the same way. I was 243 now 140lbs. I have a few answers for you, if by chance you do not get them done, I can tell you as the years pass your skin shrinks back to a better shape. i am 35 the younger you are I guess the easier it is for you skin to go back in shape. The second thing is open the phone book and call every doctor in you area and out of your area. It is definetly worth the time to call every doctor in town and call all the ones in the states around you. Travel if you have to, nothing is better than feeling good about yourself. In march, 2005 I had a breast lift, breat augmentation, and liposuction under my arms, stomach, thighs, hips, butt and I look in the mirror and cant believe the difference. I am having a lower body lift as soon as I fully recooperate. I refinanced the house to have this done. i am not telling you to refinance.But it was my choice. I went to Dr. Schossberger in Waterville for a consult, he is wonderful! I also am not sure if he does the pubis area. I was denied but am going to save the money and have him give me a tt and maybe a boob lift. :) Good luck! Theresa
