Question:
HELP!! I need help in locating a plastic surgeon in Houston,TX

I have been denied for resconstructive surgery. I have United Healthcare PPO, my plastic surgeon didn't even try to do an appeal for me... I am desperate at this point I have extra skin sagging everywhere my clothes aren't fitting correctly. I am tired of wearing 2 girdles to hold up the sagging skin. Hey Pleshette Its Gracie, im in the same boat I have been denied twice and appealed and lost I also had the same doctor and the same insurance company as yourself. I am at my last hope I am scheduled to see Dr. John LaMonoco on Thursday. He has excellent credentials,excellent referals, and he often responds to any questions asked here at the OH website and is you can read his bio by looking under plastic surgeons here on the OH website. Im not sure about how the insurance part will work out for me or yourself by im tired of waiting and then being denied by UHC so I am going to try to finance it. I forgot to mention if that does not work out I am seriously thinking about going to Mexico for surgery there are also some great doctors there but this is a last option b/c its just so far away from home but if it doesnt work out here I will go there and we could always get together and go.Let me know how it works out...

A friend who had filed with insurance and denied with one surgeon was approved when the information was submitted by Dr. Wainright. I believe he is with UT in the Medical Center. I personally used Dr. Bruce Smith for my reconstructive work.
