Question:
does anyone know of a surgeon in either the DFW metroplex or San Antonio area

Hi Laureen, I just saw your post, and thought I should answer. Sadly, there are NO BPD/DS surgeons in Texas. Have you been over to www.duodenalswitch.com yet? There's a great listing over there of recognized DS surgeons. There's also a great forum area (the DS Information Zone) that has LOTS of helpful folks that will be happy to share with you.
