Question:
I was just denied plastic surgery

My insurance company Capital District Physicians Health Plan just called me with the awful news that my doctors request to remove the acces skin from my stomach was denied. The insurance company said it is now up to me to appeal the decision. Does anyone have any ideas of place that I could get information from?    — Rosalyn R. (posted on February 6, 2004)

Rosalyn, Check out www.obesitylawyer.com - I saw a blurb on their page that said that they do help people seeking coverage for PS. Maybe they can help you out! If not, there's always the out of country option, tho. So very affordable, and from what I've seen of those who have gone - incredible results! My advice to you, and I know that I haven't experienced it myself...try www.mygastricbypass.com She took plenty pictures of herself (and she has some on her website) and sent it to the insurance company. They approved her. I am almost sure that they would not want to see that on a Monday morning! Good luck!
