I went to the find a doc page and found a fairly good size listing of
members that have had him as their surgeon. Included are their comments
about their experiences and their e-mail addresses. Maybe you could e-mail
them your specific questions? Here is the page

Hi Susan. You emailed me a long while back (as well as someone else in my
support group) but I will be glad to answer any specific questions you
have. <p>
In my experience, Dr Halmi was (and is) a very gifted and caring surgeon.
I am extremely pleased with him. His pre-op info was complete. He was very
attentive while I was in the hospital as welll as after. His post-op care
has been great.<p>
You might want to contact Dr Halmi directly with any questions that you
have about the problems that happened with your friend's surgery.
