I don't know about shrinkage so much but, in my trials with weight loss I have found that if you use a super moisturizer, like a cocoa butter or vitamin E based lotion, on the stomach and other areas as you lose, it helps the skin regain some of its elasticity. How much depends on several factors. How heavy you are to begin with, how much water you drink and how often you use it. I had a 50lb weight loss 2 years ago and every day I slathered on the lotion. My skin shrank as I did. I hope this helps a little.

After 50 the skin just doesn't shrink back like it does at 33, or even at 40. When I lost to goal weight at 42 (even though it was a rapid loss from a supervised fast) I had no lose skin and looked fab in a bathing suit, etc. Now at 51...no such luck. I am facing a tummy tuck, also leg and thigh, and arm lift. Darn. I could bathe in moisturizer and vitamin E...seems to have no effect.
