Question:
any holiday fare allowed.? especially eggnog. just a little cup. straight please.

I developed a taste for the low-fat eggnog years ago. If you can tolerate it, and stop at a small cup, I say enjoy! I bought mine 3 nights ago and still haven't cracked it open...I think I did it out of habit rather than desire. Another miracle of WLS!

I have had small amounts of egg nog, both virgin & "loaded." I do stop after about 1/2 cup. I, however, seem to tolerate sugar with ease. Thank God for the control I have now due to the surgery. I am now able to have a small amount or taste, then stop.

On Thanksgiving I splurged and bought a small container of egg-nog. I had about 1/2 cup and experienced the worst dumping I have experienced yet. Were I you, I would just have a little, like a few sips, and see how it sits with you. I will never tread on that path again.
