Question:
Hi all, I'm 11 weeks post op and up until last month I was feeling full of energy!

I have been doing all of the right things, following my Drs. orders with diet and excersize. I am down 58#s and very happy about it. But lately (the last 3-4 weeks) I'm feeling more exhausted and this last week I can hardly get myself up and going. I admit, I have only gone to Curves 1x this week, I'm just having a really hard time even getting the enthusiasm to get out of the house. I don't feel depressed, just tired. I have continued my vitamins as per Drs. orders, 2 Flinstones with iron, B Complex and Calcium, 64 plus ounces of water and at least 75 grams of protein. Any one else go through this after feeling so good? Thanks in advance for your help, Joan    — Joan R. (posted on October 16, 2003)

Are you taking your B-12? I take a B-12, B-6, and folice acid complex, that is a sub-lingual and goes under my tongue everyday, it might help you with not being to tired.

It sounds like a B-12 thing. I give myself a B-12 shot once a month. I did not think I could give myself a shot but once I did it was so easy! Sometimes when I am feeling really tired. I give myself a second shot that month. My surgeon said it is okay, just not to go over 2 shots a monthy. It only takes a day to feel better! Check with your surgeon.

I went through the same thing. I started taking a daily sublingual B-12 and that fixed the problem.
