Question:
ANyone else with low blood pressure?

I am dizzy 90 % of the time, and I know my BP is low. I am trying to keep my fluids as high as I can, striving for 100 oz a day to ease this feeling in my head. Any other ideas on how to deal with this?? Wendy    — Wendy H. (posted on September 4, 2003)

Yes I have low blood pressure. Sometimes it is around 100/60 but at times it dips as low as 80/40! One doctor checked mine before rising and afterwards. It dipped 20 points! I have alot of trouble with lightheadedness when getting up from lying or sitting down. So far I have'nt passed out, but I'm afraid it's only a matter of time.

Many post ops have this problem I know I did. Over time your body adjusts and it goes away.

I have low BP too, many times it runs as low as 60's over 40's and no one seems conserned, so I dont worry about it either. 275/145/130 surgery date nov.2002

Just a suggestion - I tend to get light headed if I accidently miss my B12. Try upping it and see if that helps any.
