Question:
How many inches/pounds did you lose with your tummy tuck?

I am starting to think about a TT and I know my excess tummy skin is making me wear at least 1 size larger then I need. I am tired of being upset by the way this mass of flesh moves and looks (and no support garments don't help they only push it higher!) SKin should not slap back aainst your body when you run (that really really bothers me) Also did your PS do the mons area with the TT or is that extra?? Where you happy you had the surgery? When I began looking at the possibility of a tt I was wearing an 18/20. I had to wear a girdle all of the time, and could not fit comfortably in normal clothingbecause of the hanging skin. In November(2002), I had a tummy tuck. I now wear a 16/18 loosely (still experiencing swelling, but I can really tell a difference from when I first had my tt). Almost any plastic surgeon will tell you that it takes about a year to really see all of the results, and for swelling to subside.

I had my TT, breastlift and arms done on March 31, 2003 (self pay: 19k! total). I lost a total of 7lbs of skin and fat which put me at goal. I had an extended tt cause I had a lot of fat in the upper tummy and on the lower back so he went almost all hte way around me and did the vertical scar. Its not bad though. Yes, the mons was fixed too and no extra charge. My PS also included lipo for contouring. And, since he went almost all the way around me, I got a mini butt and thigh lift thrown in. He did an AMAZING job and I'm really happy with it. I finally feel THIN! Pre op I was a size 10 and now I'm an 8 with some 6's. I even bought a 4 the other day but I know thats a fluke! Its SO worth it!
