Question:
NOT SURE WHICH YOGURT TO BUY

Yesterdsay when I went to the store I was looking at all the yogurts and all of the ones I saw had 12 and up grams of sugar. I really dont carry for yogurt but I hear so many of you eating this while in the puree stage too. I need to add a little spice here. I was also looking for the frozen yogurt like Ice Cream and I was so over whelmed as how high the sugar count is. I have honestly had to real sweets since Jan 14. And I try to keep the sugar grams at below 8. Please give me a sugguest of types to buy that has low sugar and that is good. Thanks,,,Jay Biller    — jay B. (posted on February 17, 2001)

I usually buy Yoplait or Dannon LIGHT. Even though their sugar counts are still high, I just don't eat the whole little pot. I eat about half. Eating it slowly and savoring each bite makes my tongue & my tummy happy. I just skip the whole ice cream and ice cream-like scene. It'd be nice, but it isn't worth wearing a larger size or two TO ME. Some would say it is worth it. I've held this size (3-5) for years now, and the only things I avoid are milk & sugar. I'm not scared of butter or mayo or fried things. But on the other hand, I also don't crave them. I think it's very wise of you to read the labels BEFORE putting things into your face! I kinda learned the hard way! Hahah!

Hi Jay, I tried Dannon Lite..and I dumped..mildly.but I still dumped..even though it has considerably less sugar..stil has too much for me. Maybe try to look for weight watchers..I think their yogurt has 8 grams orso of sugar..I like you was shocked at how much sugar was in yogurt..also..if you are looking for variety..there are sugar free fudgesicles out there..way less calories than icecream..and just as yummy :)

Hi Jay....I use Blue Bunny Lite 85 brand. I find it at our local Wal-Mart Super center. I have also seen Blue Bunny products at some Winn Dixies. They are 6 oz. containers with only 9 grams of sugar and 6 grams of protein. I can eat a whole container with no problems at all (measures out to 4 oz). They have really great tasting flavors too. Hope that helps some.

I also buy my yogurt at Walmart. I buy the Bunny Lite, I have noticed the last several times that it has Splenda instead of aspartane or sugar. I love it and have no problem with eating the whole container.

Just bought the Blue Bunny lite 85...OMG is it good! I am sick of eating stuff with an aftertaste of saccharin or asparteme--this stuff is sweetened with Splenda:Much tastier
