Question:
HAS ANYONE WITH BCBS OF MI/TRADITIONAL HAD BREAST REDUCTION/LIFT COVERED?

Hello Everyone :o) I'm almost 1 year out and would LOVE to have breast reduction and breast lift surgery. I have BCBS of Michigan(traditional) and they won't tell me anything without a code. Has any of you with the same insurance had Breast Reduction and Lift that was covered. If so, what all did you have to provide them with? Thanks a bunch for any help you may have. Hi, I had BC/BS of Michigan and had the reduction almost 5years ago before I ever had the wls. I just went to a ps in the Flint area, he took the pictures, submitted all the paper work, and was ok'd in a short time. I had deep grouves on my shoulders, back pains, and went from a 46DD to a 42C, now that I have lost my weight I am barely a 36C, have room left over, wished I hadn't done it before losing so much weight 136 pounds since Oct 01, but never thought I would have the wls. sorry I am so long winded, just wanted to tell you where I have come from, hope this helps.
