I am 5'3" and started at 253 (surgeons scale) my scale about 240. Today I am approaching the 100lb mark although I am waiting until the 3rd to weigh either at the PCM's or the surgeons office. On my scale I have lost 100lbs ( but officially not yet). Yesterday I bought a size 6 skirt at Target. I tried the 10 first as that is what I am wearing in pants and it fell down on me. So I had to buy the 6. On top I am a 4/6 or a 3/5 depending on Jrs or misses and pants I am a 10, but I did jsut buy a size 8 capri. It is crazy but boy am I enjoying it. Just ask my Northen CA WLS buddies. 253/140/125 that is on my scale mind you I am not sure of current weight on surgeons scale

I am 5'4" and weighed 276 when I started investgating having surgery. By day of surgery (09/25/03) I weighed 238 and wore a size 24 or 26. Today, I weigh 220 and wear a size 20 VERY comfortably. Could have probably gone with an 18 but I do like my clothes a bit loose. I skipped size 22 altogether. So far, my only exercise has been walking regularly but that sure has made a difference. Total loss so far of 56 pounds.

Hi there! I'm also 5'1", started out at 227, wearing a size 22 bottom and 20 top. I had surgery on 7/7/03, and have lost 52 lbs. I'm currently a size 12 on bottom, and still a size large on top (because of my bust). I know I'm somewhat of a slow loser, but I expected that because of my lighter starting weight. I'm really happy with the way things are progressing, though. Keep up your good work!

I'm 5'4". Started at 318 lbs. and I'm down to 195 lbs (almost 7 mths post-op). I walk everyday and workout in the gym 3 to 4 days a week (walking, weights and/or swimming). I eat 3 small meals a day (when I remember) and two snacks. When I'm on the go I drink alot of my meals (soups or protein drinks) The Atkins Breakfast Bar (Apple Crisp) is great. I keep a box in my car as "on the go food"). Sometimes I'm on the go so much that I forget to eat or it's to late in the evening. Go Luck to you!

I weighed 261 pounds the day of surgery and I am 5'1" and at eight months out my weight was 183. Today I am just over nine months out and I am at 163. My weight has not come off as fast as other's with my surgery date but it has continued to come off steadily well past 6 months out when everyone else seems to slow down. I notice that my weight loss increases on months that I am more diligent about my exercise. I hope this helps!! Sarah 1/20/03 - 261/163/140
