Question:
I have BCBS. How hard is it to get a tummy tuck paid for if you have a hernia?

Someone told me that the hospital stay would be paid for because of the hernia but NOT the plastic surgery part of it. thanks.    — Judy W. (posted on March 3, 2003)

Dear Judy, I have been approved for a hernia repair and tummy tuck in May. I have BC/BS and their requirement was the person had to lose atleast 100lbs to get approved. Hope this helps, Beth down 157lbs since 8-19-02
