Question:
Carbolite products?
When I was on Atkins I was practically addicted to Carbolite products. Is there anything in there that would preclude us from using them post op? — susanje (posted on December 15, 2002)

I will have an occasional Carbolite Candy bar, but I much prefer the Adkins
Endluge ones. Just keep track of the fat. So many of those have a lot of
fat in them.

I've tried them along with the Stouffer's Sugar Free candy. There is an
artificial sweetner in them that causes me extreme gas pain. I believe
it's called Malitol or Maltitol, something like that. Anyway, I've found
that artificial sweetners stimulate my appetite so I avoid them.
Especially the ones in the sugar free candies because of the pain
associated with the intense gas. Good luck.
