I have severe asthma and am now almost one year post-op. I have always taken Tylenol and have not had problems now or pre-op with it. I just take the extra strength stuff and it takes care of my headache. I know that as an asthmatic I must avoid all the NSAIDS and regular aspirin.Tylenol is all my doc will let me have. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I am 3 weeks post-op as of today, and I have asthma. I didn't have to stop using my inhalers. I took them with me to the hospital and a respiratory therapist came in every 4 hours with a new inhaler for me to use. I also have Arthritis, and I did have to stop taking ibuprofen. I now have tylenol in my cabinet, but haven't had to use it yet. Hope this helps!
