I'm sure your youth has alot to do w/ it. But I've read where 40-50 don't have sagging skin too. I guess it depends on how much you have to loose and how much water/exercise one gets. Lucky you!!!!

Hi I am 23 year and started at 220. I am 13 weeks post op and have lost 55 lbs. Sagging skin is such a tough issue because some people say it will go away and others say no. I work out every day alternating days to work out legs and arms with free weights. I am becoming more tone however my arms are flabby and more stretch marks are visible ( it looks almost like dimples in the skin) it is driving me crazy. I still have 45 lbs more to go so I guess I will have to wait it out and see. Best of luck to you

Hi, I am 26 years old and I started at 381 lbs. I am 15 months post op, and have lost a total of 252 lbs. I am now at my ideal weight. I have very little hanging skin. In fact, feel free to look at my home page where I have posted my weight loss pics. www.geocities.com/heatangel7476/night_vision.html (I know that link is long, but hopefully it's worthwhile) Goooood Luck!!!!!!!

I know that as you get older, the elasticity in your skin will get worse. I am 22 and hope that my skin will go back to normal. I have a lot of elasticity in my skin left. But is you are getting older, you will lose elasticity and your skin will not stretch back to its normal size. Don't let that discourage you because, in most cases, the extra skin can become a helth hazard and you can often get insurance to pay for a tummy tuck! YAY! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
