Try Dr. Adam Naaman in Houston. He does revisions. I had surgery with Dr. Wongsa also 6 months ago. Just curious if you talked to Wongsa about a revision and what his response was? Lisa G

Rebecca, your profile says that in April 2004, you weighed 193. Is that right? I suspect either a typo with this question or on your profile. I am sorry I can't help with your actual question, but I was concerned if you've gained that much weight in such a short time. Shelley

Dr. Wilson does revisions. He was speaking today on revisions at the Houston support group meeting. I didn't go but you can ask or read about it at HWLSSG yahoo group. He did dh's surgery this past Dec. and Wongsa did mine 12/01. Best wishes...

Rebecca, Are you looking for a conversion from one type of WLS to another? (I.e., RNY to DS) or are you seeking a revision to your original WLS? There are several Yahoo groups that deal with these topics that may be of help to you, too. Blessings, dina

Rebecca, Are you sure that everything is OK with your pouch? Even though you are transected you can develop fistulas between your pouch and your stomach so food would be gettin to your stomach and you would be able to eat more. If you haven't already done so you should see a gastroenterologist to have your pouch scoped to make sure that the mechanics of your surgery are intact. Dr. Pedro Arguello scoped my pouch about a month ago. He's in the Memorial City area and is very familiar with RNY surgery. You also call Dr. Wsonga's office for a referral. Getting scoped is the first step though if you think you may need a revision.
