Question:
WIll my Braces prevent me from having surgery?

I've heard alot of talk about metal being a hazard in your mouth at the time of surgery and I'm not very sure if that applys to braces or just the tongue rings.    — Miko P. (posted on August 28, 2001)

As long as your braces are firmly attached to your teeth and no parts can "fall off" to create a choking hazard, you're good to go!
