Question:
Has anyone here ever been to a Dr. Christine Ren in NYC, NY??

I have not seen her but I have read very positive things about her plus hse was featured on an MSNBC special if that helps

I had my consult with Dr. Ren on July 9th. I liked both Dr. Ren and her nurse Gio. Gio takes your history and vitals before you meet Dr. Ren. He is very sweet. He could tell I was nervous and kept reassuring me. Dr. Ren was equally as nice. She has great energy. She went over the possible procedures and answered all my questions. I have a surger date set with her for August 28th -- Lap RNY Proximal. I am just waiting for insurance approval. Hope this helps.

I went to see Dr. Ren for the first time on October 3. Firstly, I met with Gio, who is the Nurse Practioner. He is extremely nice! His responsibilities are to take an assessment, discuss your history and leave the details of the surgery to Dr. Ren. She was exceptional in her explanations of the various options available. Since I have not had my surgery, I am unable to say what their post op treatment is like. However, I did speak with and continue to speak with a young woman, who is post op and she gives them the highest ranking. I have decided on the Lap Band as it is the least invasive surgery and I believe that can work for me. Good luck and best wishes to all who seek a brighter tomorrow. CW.
