I ... uhhhhh ... welll ... Hmmmmm. This is a very leitamate question, though I was rather astounded by the graphic nature. To speak frankly however, I will say, intimacy is far more enjoyable both physically and emotionally now, than when I was 200 lbs heavier, and I'm sure it will be even more enjoyable in every way when I get the final 150 lbs off. I think part of the reason intimate relationships are more satisfying is 1) I'm no longer settling for what I can get, ie. he likes me, therefore I like him. I am more choosy now, and have a wonderful mate to whom I am engaged now. and 2) I think sex is more satisfying because I'm not as self conscious as I was before. I feel more free to explore and enjoy. Best wishes to you and your partner!

Personally, I enjoy making love much more now, because I am not so ashamed of my body. I used to hide under the covers and have it so dark, I couldn't see a thing, which was how I liked it. Now, 91 lbs after surgery, I light candles, and make love to my new husband like there is no tomorrow!!

Surprised to see so many people so prudish about a real question? We really are still a puritan nation... how silly to be embarrassed about something as real and important as sex! I'm now down 82 lbs and sex is much better... all the areas that were harder to reach are now more accessible and I can only hope things get better and better, as they seem to be doing...

Way to go! :) "Things you Always Wanted to Know ... But Were Afraid to Ask!" Although I am STILL Pre-op... I know this surgery and weight loss will definitely aid my sexuality. How can it not... I believe it will help to shed some inhibitions. As well as allowing me to be more...Hmmm, how shall I delicately put this...Free Spirited... I believe it will only become more inhanced as time and weightloss passes due to increased sensations as well as penetration. My 2 cents worth!

Absolutely! I have lost 52 pounds and I feel so much better! My Husband is buying silk nighties and high heels for me now and I am one third of the way to my goal.. Frequency had increased dramatically too!

I have to say - before surgery - my libido was non-existent. Since the surgery (I've lost 94 lbs since October 1, 2001), I am always sexually aroused. I don't know if it is a physical thing or just mental - but my husband says that he has NEVER seen me respond as he has since my weight loss. I guess inhibitions sort of fly out the door when you don't have as much weight - and things are easier to get to - if you get my drift :>) I am ready at the drop of a hat (or whatever) and that makes him a happy man!

Well.... being single and unattached, I wouldn't know :-( I've been crossing my fingers that I'll lose enough to find someone even willing to have sex with me <g>. But I do know from the one time in my life when I did have a partner and had lost a lot of weight...our sex life improved dramatically. Not only that...I found I always dropped a pound or two afterwards. Hmmmm....maybe I should start hanging out in bars instead of looking into a health club.
