Question:
Need a support group in my area of Texas

My surgeon offers no aftercare or support group. I live about 25 miles north of Ft Worth, TX. Anyone know of a support group within say 40 miles of me?    — DJeffrey (posted on March 27, 2002)

I don't know of a formal support group, but I found this on Spotlight Health the other day. There is a "texas-wide" get together planned in Dallas in July or August. Myabe you could get an informal support group going with some of the Dallas area folks. You might have to go back a few days to find the thread. It is titled "Texas get together posting #1". There is also a Yahoo group called NTXWLS. Maybe you could meet some folks through there.
