Question:
I'm 3 weeks out and my binder is now too big.

I am 3wks post op and I lost inches in my waist so that now the binder rolls up on me (love that pear shape). I have to attach the velcro tab on the elastic part, this is very uncomfortable. I'm suppose to wear this 3 more weeks, any suggestions? I haven't been wearing it to bed for the last week :( it is soooo uncomfortable.    — Peggy N. (posted on August 18, 2001)

When I had my c-section they had to Safety pin 2 binders together as i was so big. If it is anything like mine, (i still have it) get some big safety pins and gather a 1/2 in. or so down the middle, like a fold, and pin it together. That should help taking up the slack a bit. Hope this works. They would be expensive if you had to buy one your self! marie awbrey

My binder was too big after one and a half weeks. When I went into the Office to get the last of my staples out the Doctor told me it was way too big and if it was comfortable without it since I healed already to go without it. It's fine and I'm not having a problem. Stes
