Question:
What are Good vitamin's to take and how much?

I am 9 weeks post op and was wondering about vitamin's. My doctor has me on 2 chewable flinstone's with iron per day but was wondering if that's really enough? Aftering learning so much about the calcium citrate on here I personally curious if I'm actually taking the right and enough vitamins?    — Amy E. (posted on September 14, 2001)

Hi! In our WLS classes we were taught what kind of vitamins to take during the first 1-2 months after surgery, and then you can change. Our WLS nutritionist has researched and found out WHICH vitamins are the best for people who have had this surgery. I list this info on my website and you can see/print it at: http://www.lkdobson.homestead.com as well as some other useful info. Good luck to you !!!

You might try to find some liquid multi-vitamins & iron (yes, they do have them!). The one I use is called Liqui-Mins and is quite tolerable, diluted well and chilled. They are absorbed more readily than most other types. Check out your local GNC or other nutrition store.
