Question:
LeCarb Frozen Dessert... not really a question
I was wandering the frozen section of the grocery store, looking for SF treats for when the mood struck, when my husband found LeCarb frozen dessert. Has anyone heard of it/tried it? It is sweetened with Splenda, and is the consistency of ice cream (I thougt it was going to be like a water ice). I have to say I was pleasantly suprised. I think it would definitely be something to have only on occasion (100 calories, 7 g fat, 3 g sugar for 1/2 cup), but I know many have tried SF ice cream and had it dump, this might be a nice replacement every once in a while. I am only 5 weeks out, so I only had about a tablespoon, but it was wonderful (I had the lemon flavor - DH described it as lemon cake batter flavor) and it comes in various flavors. I have to say that most of my great finds have come from the hot tips from
posties on this website. I don't think I could have survived without the
feedback and support I get here. Thanks again, I will definately keep my

I love the lemon LeCarb. It's one of the few things I can eat and never get
sick of or from. However, the only flavor I like is the lemon. I'm usually
a choclate feign and hate the chocolate version of this, hate the vanilla
version, etc. I've been keeping an eye peeled for strawberry, as I bet that
would be pretty yummy, but haven't been able to find it around here.

I haven't tried the lemon. It sounds delicious. The cinnamon is great
too. I did not like the chocolate at all.

Have you tried the Pierre's Slender ice cream? It is made with Splenda and
is really good....especially the Moose Tracks with the little peanut butter
cups in it. I get it at Kroger. Also, for other treats, check out my

I have been able to find LeCarb icecream at my Super Wal-mart. They have
all of the flavors that have been mentioned. My favorite is the strawberry!
