Question:
I had gastric bypass a month ago-the last 3 days I have had a

back pain for the last 3days. I went to primary care doctor she said he could be a pulled muscle, kidney infection or shingles. I couldn't do the kidney speciman as I didn't have to go. She put me on Darvocet and heating pad. But it is still hurting. It feels about the size of a fist and it is midway down on the left side only. I had back pain a month out. Remember they cut through your abs, forcing your back to do more work. Still, it may be anything so keep consulting w/ your doc.

I personally would make an appointment with my surgeon, since your only a month out and let him/her examine you.
