Need Vitamin recommendations for Medial RNY

I am looking for recommendations for those who had a medial RNY. I am currently 6mo post-op and at this time cant afford buying the more expensive brands. Any suggestions?    — Kimberly Z. (posted on July 14, 2003)

My surgeon says there is no such thing as a medial rny. Although some people do refer to it in that way. About your vitamins, what does your doctor recommend. At first, I ordered mine from vitalady.com. They were cheaper than some at walmart and certainly cheaper than GNC. Now, i mostly get mine at walmart. On the calcuim, I just make sure I read the labels and get calcuim citrate. They have a very good one from Spring valley labs. It is called calcuim citrate plus Vit. D. I paid about 7 dollars for 120. They are huge but I also bought a pill-splitter (also at walmart).
