If you are in NJ or PA and have had PS covered by insurance, can you share who your

insurer is and what the requirements were for coverage? Also, what did you have done? I am frustrated because so many insurers are now covering the reconstruction, but mine won't.    — Jennifer W. (posted on April 23, 2003)

Jennifer, I had a few hernias and an apron. I had the hernias fixed and a panni (tummy tuck). My insurance said it covered reconstructive surgery if it was deemed medically necessary. My doctors office did all of the paperwork.
