Question:
Does your apron ever

it not to be noticable a tummy tuck? I am only about 15 or 20 lbs from goal, and I am very depressed over the fact that a)I have to go a size up in pants to cover my belly and b)I still have to buy tops that fall low enough to cover the panni area. I would say most of the weight I have left to take off is in the belly area. I am wondering if anyone has found that when they reach goal, it is not so noticable at least when dressed. PS is no where in my near future -- can't afford it. I do wear shapewear to pull stuff in, but it really only seems to smooth me out.    — Jennifer W. (posted on March 19, 2003)

jENNIFER, I HAVE LOST 104 POUNDS. I AM AT MY GOAL OF 150. MY DR WROTE A LETTER FOR THIS TO BE MY GOAL WEIGHT BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO GET ANY SMALLER. I'M 52, 5FT AND I USED TO WEIGH 250. I GO TO WEIGHT WATCHERS AND I WANT TO BE A LIFETIME MEMBER. I NEED A TT VERY BADLY TOO. I AM SMALL EVERY WHERE EXCEPT MY STOMACH. I AM TRYING TO GET MY INSURANCE TO PAY FOR THE TT. I ALSO HAVE A HERNIA. I DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH IT WILL COST OUT OF POCKET BUT I AM GOING TO TRY TO GET ONE IF I CAN. I AM SHORT AND I WENT FROM A 26 TO A 12. I LOOK GREAT EXCEPT IN THE STOMACK AREA. MAYBE WE CAN GET THE INSURANCE TO HELP US.

I see you have or rather had BCBS - I've read that they pay for panni removals if the need is there. Have you checked into this? I can't hide mine any better than you can and stuffing it into a girdle just causes sweating (and rashes). Good luck!
