Question:
What is the nutritional value of egg whites?
I am 6 months post-op (90 lbs gone) and I have been totally craving boiled egg whites every morning for breakfast. I do not eat the yolk because I hate the taste and know they contain alot of cholesteral. I have heard that most of the protien is in the yolk, but what exactly is in the white part....and do I really want to know? I've been eating 2-3 boiled egg whites every morning for breakfast (only time of day I feel hungry) is this ok? — Tracey D. (posted on October 27, 2000)
