Question:
This is embarrassing but I have a question

A few days ago, I noticed that my "butt" area had a large round hard spot. To be grossly to the point, it alomst feels like I am constipated and there is a large blockage that can not come out. I have been to the bathroom so I do not think that is the problem. It feels about the size of 21/2 to 3 inches in diamater. It does not hurt. I am kind of worried. Could be a type of infection creating a pilonedal cyst or it could be a lipoma a type of fatty cyst or it could be a ceroma a type of fluid filled cyst. Any of the above should be diagnosed by a doctor, not over a website. Get theee to thy doctor, Girlfriend! Good Luck!

Ann, do you think it is because you have lost weight? You didn't say how much you have lost, but I have the same problem, and I know it is because I have lost 125 pounds, and have lost so much fat back there. I didn't know why it hurt so much sitting, until I realized I had bony things back there I had never felt before, isn't it wonderful!!! God Bless you ,Susie

I would go get checked out if I were you. I had a similar area, I thought it would go away. It didn't the area got larger and larger until it burst which resulted in a very complicated surgery. It was diagnosed as a fistula in ano. The surgery was painful , as a matter of fact it's been one year today since surgery. The surgeon told me it could have been prevented with proper antibiotic treatment whne I first noticed it, but since I ignored it for so long it worsened. Have someone check it out please:)!
