Question:
Does anyone know anything about Dr. Gomez at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis?

Would like to know if anyone has had surgery with Dr. Gomez? Can't seem to find out too much information about him on this site.    — Karen K. (posted on September 6, 2001)

Dr. Gomez is who I have chosen to do my WLS. From what I have heard he is the best around. He is very well respected in the community and is a Trama Surgeon at Wishard and a Professor at Indiana University Medical Center. If you look further for another Dr., Dr. Gomez may have been their teacher = ) I had a friend in Indianapolis crushed in a ditch at work with multiple internal injuries. Dr Gomez performed her exploritory surgery and saved her life. He took special care to make sure the family was well informed throughout the surgery. He's also the only Dr in Indiana doing the Lap RNY. I hope this helps.
